1.担保人必须是中国人吗?

回答:担保人可以是中国人,也可以是外国人。申请者的父母或亲戚、朋友等都可以做担保人,但是正在学校学习的学生不能做担保人。

A: The guarantor can be either a Chinese or a non-Chinese. Example of who can be a guarantor are: the applicants’ parents or relatives, andfriends. But a person with the status of “student” cannot be a guarantor.


2.保险费是多少?

回答:根据中国政府有关规定,凡学习时间在一学期以上(含一学期)的学生均须参加中国综合医疗保险,保险费用一年600元人民币,一学期300元人民币。留学生在注册交纳学费时一并交纳保险费。不参加综合医疗保险者,学校将不予注册。

Q: How much does the insurance cost?

A: According to the relevant regulations of the Chinese government, all international students who study for one semester or more (one semester included) are required to enroll and participate in the China comprehensive medical insurance. It costs 600 yuan a year(300 yuan a semester). The international students should pay the premium as they register and pay the tuition. Otherwise they can not enroll at JLUZH.

  

3、学校有餐厅吗?每天餐费大约需要多少钱?

回答:学校有学生食堂可以提供中餐、西餐、韩餐、日餐、穆斯林餐以及各种快餐等。学生办理一卡通校园卡后,可在学生餐厅就餐,一日三餐需要20-40元。

Q: Is there canteen on campus? How much does a student roughly spend on meals?

A: We serve Chinese food, western food, Korean food, Japanese food, Muslim food and other fast food in the student canteens. Students can use their campus cards to eat in the canteens. It costs 20-40 yuan per day for three meals.

  

4.入学手续办理一般需要多长时间?

回答:来华留学生办公室收到申请资料后需要大约3周的时间进行资格和申请资料审核,并办理相关手续,然后通过邮局寄出录取通知书和JW202签证申请表。

A: After receiving the application materials, the office of foreign students will on average take about 3 weeks to conduct the qualification and application materials examination and go through the relevant procedures. After which the admission notice and the JW202 visa application form will be sent by mail .

  

5.课外有哪些活动?

回答:学习一学期及以上的学生,有以下课外活动:
 1)每学期至少一次珠海市容参观、珠海企业参观活动。

2)每学期至少一次留学生文体类活动,例如羽毛球比赛、文艺晚会等。

3) 每学期至少一次留学生知识类竞赛,例如汉语比赛、配音大赛、演讲比赛等。

A:Students who study one semester or more have the following extracurricular activities:

1) At least one visit to Zhuhai city and a Zhuhai’s enterprise every semester.

2) Take part in students' sports activities, such as badminton competitions and art performances, etc. at least once a semester.

6.报名费和申请资料是否可以退还?

回答:报名费和申请资料一律不予退还。

回答:境外永久通讯地址:中国境外的地址,填写时应足够详尽,写明邮编、街道、门牌号等。出生地点:申请人出生的城市名字。现学校或工作单位:如为在校学生或刚毕业,应填写学校的名字;如已工作,应填写工作单位的名字。

回答:仅可以申请我校的短期语言课程(一学期以下)。申请时,申请者除提供申请表等相关申请资料外,还应提供所在公司的同意信和工作签证复印件。持工作签证在我校学习的学生不能住在留学生宿舍。

回答:学生可以住在宾馆或居民家中。如住在中国居民家中,应在入住后24小时内和房主一起到当地派出所办理住宿登记手续;如住宾馆,在入学注册时,须向学校出示宾馆的住宿证明。

Q: Can I live off campus?

A: Yes, students can live off campus.Two options are to live in a rented accommodation or Chinese host family.If you live in the home of a Chinese resident, you should go to the local police station to apply for residence permit with the landlord within 24 hours after moving in.If you live in a hotel, you must show your hotel accommodation certificate to the school when you register.

  

15.校内可以上网吗?

回答:可以。入住后在校园卡中心申请,费用约为每个月4060元。

Q: Is there WIFI or Internet on campus ?

Answer: Yes. After completing the on campus registration , you can go to the campus internet center to apply and pay for your WIFI/Internet. The cost on average is 40 to 60 RMB/month.

  

16.正在中国其他学校学习的学生如何申请?

回答:凡在中国正规学校学习的人员申请来校学习,除了提供所有申请材料外,还应提供:

1)所在院校留学生办公室的转学同意函(必须加盖公章)

2)在华签证或居留许可复印件。

Q: How does a student apply for the program if he/she is currently studying in another university in China?

A: If the applicant is currently studying in one of the legitimate universities in China, in addition to providing all the application materials, they should also provide:

1) transfer agreement letter of the international student office of the university (official seal must be affixed).

2) copy of visa or residence permit in China.
